Specialist, Physical Security - Weekend Days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:30am to 6:30pm)

Position Summary Supports the development and implementation of security protocols, programs, and training. Provides input, recommends improvements, ensures compliance with corporate security policies, updates site‑specific responsibilities, and initiates the incident command system during emergencies. Key Responsibilities Provide tactical response to emergency situations such as domestic violence, workplace violence, fire, severe weather, active shooter, and chemical spill. Respond to alarm and intrusion‑detection system activations (e.g., voice evacuation, panic/duress device, perimeter motion/ground sensor). Determine priorities of action in emergency situations and execute tactical security responses, including CPR and First Aid, following company guidelines. Ensure threats are reported, assist with mitigation, and investigate reported corporate facility threats, policy violations, criminal activity, security breaches, and complaints. Assess visitor threat levels (associates, guests, supplier drivers, panhandlers) and escort critical information or merchandise as required. Maintain regulatory and corporate policy compliance, addressing PCI, PII, OSHA, Fire Code, and Life Safety requirements, reporting violations, and implementing solutions. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment, including providing emergency responses and customer service to law enforcement and regulatory agencies. Complete work assignments efficiently using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, and partners; communicate progress and recommend improvement opportunities. Possess at least one year of experience in security, law enforcement, military, emergency services, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Corporate Security, Emergency Operations, or Law Enforcement. Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Sociology, or related discipline. CPR/BCLS certification.
