As a Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.38 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or security-related concerns. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain awareness of visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements. Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
