Key Responsibilities

• Implements care plans, including administering medications, collecting specimens, and providing clinical treatments and other medical care.
• Records and documents the care provided to patients.
• Observes, logs, and communicates patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and their families as necessary.
• Assists patients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and mobility.
• Collaborates with various disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and addressing spiritual or psychosocial needs.
• Assesses the educational needs of patients and/or families, providing tailored education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Acts as an advocate for the physical and emotional health of patients.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments to identify needs.
• Recognizes and initiates suitable nursing interventions.
• Delivers care that is appropriate for the patient's condition and age.
• Ensures timely and accurate documentation related to medical necessity in patient records.
• Responsible for the completion and updates of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Conducts timely and precise quality improvement assessments.

Additional Responsibilities

• Participates in clinic meetings.
• Keeps a clean and safe working environment.
• Reports incidents, hazards, and drug interactions, taking appropriate actions.
• Completes safety training programs.
• Assists colleagues when time allows.

Candidates should hold a current RN license in Utah or a compact license with Utah endorsement, along with an associate's degree from an accredited nursing program. Additional qualifications include:

• Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
• ACLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Preferred: One year of nursing experience.
• Preferred: ASLS certification.

Minimum Work Experience: Familiarity with ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT codes, insurance benefits, and healthcare backgrounds is essential.
