What We’re Looking For:

• Current and valid Washington LPN certification or licensure
• Experience with tracheostomy care is essential
• Previous school nursing or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team
• Flexibility to adjust work schedule as the student's stamina and needs evolve

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to a student with a tracheostomy for approximately one hour each afternoon onsite
• Monitor the student’s health status and provide interventions as required
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and medical staff to support the student’s care plan
• Maintain clear documentation in accordance with school and nursing standards
• Respond calmly and efficiently to medical emergencies related to the student’s condition
• Adapt support as the student’s stamina increases over the school year
