Overview Phlebotomist II Float - Upland, CA — Monday to Friday, hours vary from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with rotational weekends. This Phlebotomy float role offers variety in work where no two days will quite look the same, in a diverse, dynamic work environment. Quest does not accept NHA licenses in CA, WA, NV. Pay Pay range: $26.60 - $31.65 per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications obtained, as well as market and organizational factors. Depending on whether the position is part-time or full-time, some benefits may include: Day 1 Medical, supplemental health, dental & vision for FT employees who work 30+ hours Well-being programs and Blueprint for Wellness® HealthyMINDS mental health program Vacation and Health/Flex Time 6 Holidays plus 1 MyDay off FinFit financial coaching and services 401(k) pre-tax and/or Roth IRA with company match up to 5% after 12 months of service Employee stock purchase plan Life and disability insurance, with buy-up option Flexible Spending Accounts Annual incentive plans Matching gifts program Education assistance through MyQuest for Education Career advancement opportunities And more Responsibilities Assigned a territory to cover phlebotomy duties within a Patient Service Center, doctor’s office, or as business needs dictate Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening and insurance exams Enter billing information and collect payment when required Coach, mentor, instruct, and serve as a resource advisor for new employees; act as the point of contact on site and provide regular input to the group lead or supervisor Travel to additional doctor’s office or Patient Service Center sites when needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington Three years phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred Keyboard/data entry experience The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
