The Role

Fidelity Investments is looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test who is passionate about cutting edge technologies, frameworks, and design patterns. You will be joining a squad of engineers focused on Paid Subscriptions. You will be responsible for hands on development across multiple technology stacks such as Java and JavaScript within AWS. You will be responsible for performing all Software Development Lifecycle activities such as designing, developing, testing and deployment with a primary focus on testing automation, framework, and traceability. Overall, you will have an appetite for learning, evaluating, and recommending new technologies. The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or closely related)
• Experience in test automation (Cypress, REST Assured, etc.)
• Proven experience with AWS Services (Lambda, S3, RDS, Dynamo, etc.)
• Understanding and/or experience with DevOps/Pipelines (Jenkins, uDeploy, LWC, ACID, Data Buffet, etc.)
• Strong background in Java
• Certifications in AWS or similar cloud platforms are a plus
• Creative, Innovative and Problem-Solving skills are a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills needed for agile team

The Team

The Engineering Efficiency and Assurance (EE&A) chapter resides in the Personal Investment (PI) business unit of Fidelity Investments. The EE&A chapter’s support spans across all of PI and provides domain specialists to squads who develop products with the highest customer quality, security, stability, and experience. The chapter consists of over 245 multi-stacked engineers with a passion around customer experience and with the engineering tool set to seek challenges including: Automated testing, performance testing, chaos testing, application cloud migration and management, CI / CD implementation, security testing and application development. This role will directly support the Paid Subscriptions squad within the Acquisition and Loyalty product area.
