Key Responsibilities For The Senior Accountant Manage month-end and year-end close processes and assist with preparation of financial statements. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity. Support job costing, project accounting, and analysis of operational performance. Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls. Qualifications For The Senior Accountant BS in Accounting, Finance, or related degree. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Construction, infrastructure, engineering, or project-based accounting experience preferred.
