Job Description

The position involves operating CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to manufacture parts that meet customer specifications and production standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders to produce parts as per specifications.

• Set up machines and perform tooling changes efficiently.

• Complete program edits using G&M codes with precision.

• Utilize micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure accuracy.

• Read and interpret blueprints for manufacturing processes.

• Work in a job shop environment, focusing on precision over mass production.

• Maintain tight tolerances of +/- 0.001.

• Lift up to 50 pounds as required.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of CNC machining experience.

• Proficiency in setting up machines and performing tooling changes.

• Ability to complete program edits using G&M codes.

• Skilled in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

• Blueprint reading ability.

• Experience in a job shop environment.

• Capability to hold tolerances of +/- 0.001.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• MasterCAM or Solidworks experience is a plus.

• Experience operating both mill and lathe machines is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with shifts available as follows: 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a 10% shift differential, 2nd shift from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM with a 15% shift differential, and 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Voluntary overtime is available on weekends.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blue Ash, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
