ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN

Responsibilities Receive, sort, correct, and reconcile a variety of accounting documents such as invoices, payment vouchers and billings. Post data to appropriate accounts, review and code financial information, disburse funds, and make deposits. Schedule & Other Requirements Typical schedule is 37.5 hours per week; additional hours may be required depending on workload demands. Must attend continuing education courses as appropriate. Ability to communicate with the public, other county employees, and vendors. Qualifications High school diploma and completion of one to two years of post‑secondary training in accounting or business, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
