Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in Connecticut
• Experience in a school-based (PT - School) setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric physical therapy techniques and best practices
• Adaptability and excellent communication skills for working with various student needs
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct PT services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Maintain clear and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student progress and goals
• Guide school staff and families with strategies to support students
• Maintain a positive and inclusive therapeutic environment onsite
