Environmental Services Supervisor
As a key member of our operations team, the Environmental Services Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance throughout our facility.
About the Role:
Environmental Services Supervisor : The Plaza Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Environmental Services Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our environmental services department, ensuring that all areas of the facility are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
Supervise and Coordinate Team Efforts : As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of environmental services staff members, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Maintain High Standards of Cleanliness : You will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the facility, including patient rooms, common areas, and public spaces, are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition.
Monitor and Implement Special Projects : You will be responsible for monitoring and implementing special projects, such as deep cleaning, equipment maintenance, and facility repairs, to ensure that the facility is in excellent condition.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of environmental services staff members
Ensure that all areas of the facility are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures
Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify areas for improvement
Implement special projects, such as deep cleaning and equipment maintenance
Provide guidance and support to staff members as needed
Maintain accurate records and reports of cleaning schedules, inventory, and maintenance
Requirements:
1 or 2 years of experience in environmental services, healthcare, or a related field
High school diploma or equivalent required; prefer degree in a related field
Strong leadership and supervision skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
