Assistant Food Services Director Schedule & Benefits  

• Schedule: Full time, including weekend on-call

Assistant Food Services Director Qualifications  

• High School diploma or equivalent 

• SERV Safe Certification required 

• Experience in managing Food Services Department and staff in a long-term care setting preferred 

• Ability to work independently or part of a group 

• Computer knowledge 

Assistant Food Services Director  Responsibilities  

• Inspects the Dietary Department daily to ensure that it is safe and sanitary 

• Submits written reports to the administration as necessary 

• Plans nutritionally balanced & therapeutic meals that reflect the likes and dislikes of residents, as well as Public Health regulations 

• Responsible for food purchase, production, and timely service of meals 

• Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel 

• Hires, orients, trains, counsels, disciplines, and when appropriate, terminates dietary staff
