ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct history and physical examinations. Review laboratory results and monitor blood levels. Manage sick calls and prepare discharges, including physician orders and prescriptions if authorized. Provide support and resources to the adult residential program and detox as needed. Coordinate with the primary care physician and psychiatrist, with support from nursing staff when appropriate. Work with nursing staff to ensure medications are cost-effective for clients post-discharge and complete prior authorization requests as necessary. Maintain accurate client documentation and follow treatment plan objectives. Evaluate clients' behavioral and emotional needs, providing appropriate responses, including crisis intervention. Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly physical environment. Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Nurse Practitioner Certification required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Addiction Medicine and/or family practice medicine preferred. Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification preferred.
