Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to understand their unique needs.
\n
• Provide individual and family therapy, tailoring therapeutic approaches based on the assessments and identified requirements of each patient.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms in compliance with organizational standards and guidelines.
\n
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to ensure continuity of care and support patients in maintaining stability.
\n
• Create discharge plans that facilitate smooth transitions for patients at the conclusion of their treatment.
\n
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state laws, guidelines, as well as Vitality Peak Health Care’s policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development by completing necessary training and participating in case consultations and agency meetings to stay current in the field.
\n
• Fulfill all licensure requirements and mandatory training to remain compliant and effective in your role.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position involves working with a diverse client population, including individuals and families who experience a range of mental health challenges. You will be expected to approach each client with sensitivity and an understanding of cultural backgrounds, integrating their unique experiences into the treatment process. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that leads to licensure.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health setting or a similar role focused on mental health services is preferred.

• Familiarity with electronic health records systems and various billing processes will be looked upon favorably.

• Experience conducting therapy sessions with a diverse, multicultural patient base.

Compensation and Benefits\n
