The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the "Jewel of the Desert" since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. What you will have an opportunity to do:

The Server Assistant supports the service team by assisting servers, bussing and resetting tables, greeting guests with water service, and ensuring the dining room and patio are clean, organized, and set for service. This role helps maintain a smooth flow of service while delivering a warm and attentive guest experience.

Essential Functions

• Set and prepare tables for dining, including, but not limited to, folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, serving water, etc.
• Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
• Stock, maintain and clean designated food stations.
• Assist Server with table service, including, but not limited to, serving beverages, breads, etc.
• Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Follow all policies and procedures of the hotel and department.
• Complete all sidework and assist with other duties as assigned by management.

What are we looking for?

Experience

• Prior food and beverage experience, preferred
• Prior customer service experience, preferred
• Prior luxury / upscale dining experience, preferred

Licenses or Certificates

• Maricopa Food Handlers Card
