Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuously monitor patient conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and prescribed treatments
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Monitor patient progress and promptly respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care guidelines
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care that promotes recovery and positive outcomes

Requirements

• Active RN License in Washington
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing documentation systems
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining quality standards
