Our organization in Spartanburg, SC is looking to recruit FULL TIME BC/BE Anesthesiologists to become part of our dedicated team. The Anesthesiologists will deliver care across four facilities in Upstate, SC. We handle a diverse range of complex cases, from Level 1 trauma centers to community hospitals. Our Anesthesiology department includes both General and Cardiac Anesthesiologists, with subspecialty call managed by the respective teams, while general call is evenly distributed among generalists.

• SMC - Church Street Campus - Level 1 Trauma Center (Spartanburg, SC)

  • Over 19,000 cases and 3,800 deliveries each year

  • 23 advanced operating rooms, including 3 dedicated to Cardiac procedures, 3 EP labs for anesthesia, 3 OB operating rooms, and 4 Endoscopy suites

  • The general case mix encompasses: General Surgery, Plastics, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, Vascular, ENT, Trauma, Gastrointestinal, Neurology, Thoracic, Regional Anesthesia, and Pediatric cases (primarily healthy pediatric dental, ENT, ophthalmology, and orthopedic, with occasional NICU cases). Off-site services include MRI and Interventional Radiology.

  • In-house call for night and weekend coverage

  • Medical direction ratio of up to 1:4

• SMC - Mary Black Campus (Spartanburg, SC)

  • 9 operating rooms (with ongoing expansion), 4 Endoscopy suites, handling over 5,000 cases annually

  • 3 Anesthesiologists on duty each day

  • Home call coverage for nights and weekends

  • Medical direction ratio of up to 1:4

  • Case mix includes: General Surgery, Plastics, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Urology, Neurology (no craniotomies), Regional Anesthesia, minimal healthy Pediatrics, and Gynecology

  • Recognized as a DNV Hip & Knee Center of Excellence

• PMC - Pelham Medical Center (Greer, SC)

  • 5 operating rooms (with expansion underway), 1 Minor Procedure Room, 1 Cath Lab, and 1 MRI

  • Case mix includes: Orthopedics, Spine, Neurology, General Surgery, Robotics, Gynecology, Plastics, Vascular, Gastrointestinal, Maxillofacial, Pain Management, and ENT (68% Orthopedics & Spine)

  • Over 4,000 cases handled annually

  • DNV accredited for Orthopaedics, Hip & Knee, Spine, and Foot & Ankle Center of Excellence

  • Ranked #1 in Spine for SC by US News & World Report

  • Home call coverage for nights and weekends

• CMC - Cherokee Medical Center (Gaffney, SC)

  • 5 operating rooms, with 1 MD on duty each day

  • Case mix includes: General Surgery, Gynecology, Gastrointestinal, Orthopedics, Regional Anesthesia, occasional Transesophageal Echocardiograms, and minimal healthy Pediatrics

  • No evening or weekend cases; no call obligations

  • Medical direction ratio of up to 1:4
