Job Title
Operates and safely drives vehicles with a gross vehicle weight over 26,000 lbs on predetermined routes to ensure timely transport and delivery.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle.
- Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 lbs.
- Ensure contents are properly secured in a truck, flatbed to prevent damage/injury.
- Stay on a predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery.
- Perform inspections on your vehicle prior to and following each trip.
- Check weather conditions and road reports before departure.
- Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean.
- Notify managers of any major maintenance issues encountered.
- Track and report working hours.
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to weather/road conditions.
- Performs related duties as assigned
- Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures
Education, Skills And/Or Work Experience Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws
- Previous experience driving a triaxle dump truck preferred
- CDL A or B License
- At least 1 year of experience

- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
