Survey Drafting PositionApplicant needs to have a minimum of two years survey drafting experience utilizing surveying, Civil3D and/or MicroStation softwares. Candidates with experience working in one software must be willing to learn the other software along with additional survey technician software programs.Daily working CAD drafting skills are required; knowledge regarding land surveying; ability to analyze field data, utilize 3D data; ability to work with a team to take field data and produce CAD files and maps is a must.Open Roads experience preferred. Willingness to learn Open Roads.Applicants should be proficient in generating digital terrain models (DTM's), creating break lines and contours.Applicants should be able to perform land record research (deeds and plats) and be able to plot deeds and plats in a CADD environment.Must have the ability to take directions and create quality CAD products including topographic maps, boundary maps, and ALTA/NSPS land title maps.Valid driver's license required. Must have clean record, good work ethic, reliable.High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience. Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.Participate in cross-training as requested to build a stronger teamCommunicate your work flow needs to your team and to your supervisorComply with all KCI policies and proceduresAccurately records and reports daily forms per project requirementsCommunicates effectively with client, contractor, staff, and supervisorPerforms other duties as assignedProactively resolves problems at the lowest levelAdheres to project scope, schedule, and budgetReviews all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submittingSubmits accurate time sheets, mileage and expense reports on time each weekReviews jobsite safety daily and takes immediate action to document and resolve issuesUnderstands OSHA Safety Standards and KCI corporate policies and follows them at all timesAccurately record and report your work each day on the forms providedInspect and correct your own work before turning it inPerform all task assignments using required industry standardsReview all work assigned to you before beginning your workUnderstand all applicable industry standards for your assigned tasksWork with your team to maximize your production and accuracy to help us achieve our goalHas the specific knowledge to perform all dutiesMaintains all required certifications and participates in training courses as requiredUnderstands all applicable industry standards for project and performs all tasks per standards and client requirements
