The Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Neuro Unit provides specialized nursing care to patients with neurological conditions in a medical-surgical setting. This role focuses on monitoring neurological status, preventing complications, and supporting recovery for patients with acute neuro diagnoses.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (GA or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical or Neuro experience
• Required certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA
  • NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification)
• Strong knowledge of neurological assessments and stroke care protocols
