Backend Software Engineer

Required Skills
- More than 7 years of backend software engineering experience
- Strong Java development experience in enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and RESTful API development
- Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
- Experience with unit testing, test automation, and test-driven development (TDD)
- Ability to participate in story sizing, sprint planning, and iterative software delivery
- Strong collaboration skills across engineering, QA, infrastructure, and security teams
- Experience with Kotlin and/or Groovy
- Experience supporting supply chain, warehouse management, or order management platforms
- Manhattan Associates platform experience (WMS, WMOS, Active, or OMS preferred)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices
- Exposure to cloud-native application development
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Deliver features aligned to prioritized product backlog items
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives
- Create automated tests and validate functionality against acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and secure solutions
- Support production readiness, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform improvements
