Each design decision is guided by a deep appreciation for and understanding of the integral architectural, cultural, civic, environmental, and economic forces that shape a project. An Architectural Designer II/Architect II (ADII/AII) is responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client's needs. The ADII/AII provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects; independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs; and carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures. Exposure to all phases of the design process is required. The ADII/AII may also provide technical guidance to less experienced architects/architectural staff. Qualifications Education: Professional degree in Architecture ADII: Actively taking the Architectural Registration Exams AII: Licensure required Other accreditations encouraged (AIA, LEED) Experience: 6+ years of related experience Skills: Proficient in 3D modeling using software such as Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD, and SketchUp; Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) , Microsoft Office and Bluebeam MA has a distinctive culture founded upon our collective passion for community building, both in and out of the office.
