About the Role

At Degree Heating & Cooling, we're looking for an experienced Licensed HVAC Lead Installer who takes pride in quality work, leadership, and customer experience. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead install crews, mentor apprentices, and complete high-quality residential and light commercial HVAC installations. What You'll Be Doing

• Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installations
• Train and mentor apprentice installers
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues on-site
• Ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and correctly
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and customers
• Maintain truck stock, tools, and job documentation
• Perform system startups and calibrations to manufacturer standards

What We're Looking For

• Connecticut HVAC License (S-2, D-2, or equivalent)
• 3+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints and installation plans
• Comfortable using tablets/apps for work orders and notes
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
• Team-oriented mindset with pride in quality workmanship

Pay Range : Pay is dependent on experience; $40/hour and up + SPIFFs and bonuses. Top technicians earn over $100,000 per year.
