If that's you, we want to work together.Polymarket is looking for a Design Engineer to help deliver highly polished, intuitive, and engaging interfaces across all of our products for millions of users. You'll partner closely with design and engineering to craft interactive consumer experiences that make prediction markets more accessible, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. This is a role for someone with taste, technical depth, and a chip on their shoulder about the quality of what they ship.What You'll DoBuild and prototype. Write the code behind new UI components, animations, and interactions that elevate the product experience. Push for best practices in front-end development and performance at every step.Own the design system. Drive consistency, accessibility, and performance across all of Polymarket's product surfaces by contributing to and evolving our design system.Work end-to-end. Take ownership across the full product lifecycle, from early ideation through implementation and iteration, with a strong point of view at every stage.Bridge design and engineering. Partner tightly with designers and engineers to define and implement experiences where the final product actually matches the vision and sometimes exceeds it.Stay ahead. Keep up with emerging web technologies, interaction patterns, and design trends, and bring the best of what you find back to Polymarket.What We're Looking For2+ years of professional experience in design engineering, front-end development, or a hybrid role that spans bothStrong proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript, with a focus on interactions, animation, performance, and polishDeep understanding of design principles: typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchyExperience working with Figma, design tokens, and design systems to close the gap between design intent and production realityAn eye for detail that borders on obsessive.
