Neuro ICU/IMCU RN

Job Description

The Neuro ICU/IMCU RN will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients in the neuro intensive care and intermediate care unit. The position requires floating between both ICU and stepdown units, depending on patient care needs. The successful candidate will have strong neuro nursing experience and the ability to manage critically ill patients effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to neuro patients in ICU and stepdown settings
• Monitor vital signs and manage medication administration
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform assessments and interventions as required by the patient's condition
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care and treatment

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro nursing or critical care
• Current RN license and Nursys license verification
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Strong clinical skills and experience in neuro assessments and interventions

Schedule

This position is a day shift, requiring 12-hour shifts.
