Order Management Specialist

Job Description Summary Responsible for project operations and project support including standardization, quality management, document management, project maintenance, process improvement and tools for the order management function. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. Job Description Details and Scope Responsible for receiving orders and accurately entering orders into SAP order management software; preparing Order Acknowledgments, invoices, and Lien Waivers; assisting project managers with administrative duties; supporting other departments such as Technical Support, Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Commercial, Product Managers; expediting orders, handling change orders; maintaining order status and resolving discrepancies; monitoring Sales Revenue Recognition. Roles and Responsibilities Maintain and make available complete and current project documents and related information throughout the project cycle. Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline and may include support roles with specialized expertise or in broad area. Apply general business knowledge developed through education or experience. Understand how own team's work contributes to the area. Resolve issues using established procedures and consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside defined instructions/parameters. Support logistics processes: good receipt (inventory check), proof of deliveries collection and administration, and other responsibilities as per business needs. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Business. Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, engineering, manufacturing, or related field (or associate degree with at least 4 years of experience in the same areas). Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Benefits & Compensation Pay range: $69,600.00 – $104,400.00 (U.S. based positions), with geographic differential extensions. Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
