Direct Support Professional (DSP) – PT, FT, Overnight Shifts Available Location: Spearfish, SD Company: Northern Hills Training Center Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Overnight About Us Northern Hills Training Center (NHTC) is a community-based provider dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Position Summary We are currently hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for part-time, full-time, and overnight shifts. In this role, you will provide hands‑on support to individuals in their homes and community settings, helping them build independence, maintain health and safety, and achieve personal goals. Key Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities (personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping) Support community participation (social activities, outings) Provide companion and emotional support Document services and progress accurately Follow individualized care plans and behavior support plans Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment Available Shifts Full‑Time and Overnight Shifts follow a rotating 12‑hour schedule, allowing you to have half the year off! Shift Rotations Front Half Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday Back Half Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday Part‑Time Flexible scheduling available based on your availability and program needs. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, dependable, and reliable Experience in caregiving, healthcare, or human services is a plus (but not required) Benefits Wage: Part-time employees start at $17.59/hr. Full-time and Overnight Employees average $20.10/hr.
