Job Purpose: The Mechanic maintains and refurbishes lifting assemblies and other various machinery/mechanical assemblies. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain and refurbish pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electric powered machinery Evaluate and make recommendations regarding repairs Document service and repair actions by completing forms, reports, inspection checklists, FAT's and load test certificates Perform other duties as required Job Requirements: Ability to work in elevated areas and exposed environments Ability to use hand tools and work with power supply systems Ability to operate forklift and manlift equipment Ability to mitigate additional damage by working with a high degree of precision and control Strong mechanical reasoning and aptitudes- diagnostic skills, understanding of various mechanical elements Ability to read blueprints and schematics Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. and it's subsidiaries are an Affirative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
