Ultrasound Technologist II Location: Mission Community Hospital – Panorama City, CA Department: Imaging Services Schedule: Temp position – approximately six months Position Summary Mission Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist II to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with ARDMS guidelines and hospital standards. The Ultrasound Technologist provides high-quality patient care while working with pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Essential Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, procedures and produce high-quality images for physician interpretation. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout all procedures. Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with department and manufacturer guidelines. Communicate effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare team members. Assist with scheduling, patient flow, and department operations. Report equipment issues and supply needs to leadership. Qualifications Required High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program. Current ARDMS or ARDMS eligible. Current BLS/CPR certification. Minimum three (3) years of ultrasound experience or equivalent demonstrated competency. Preferred Acute care hospital experience. Bilingual English/Spanish. Pay Transparency At Mission Community Hospital we offer a competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
