Pay: $18.00/hour Looking for a seasonal opportunity to earn extra income during harvest? We're hiring Harvest Scale Operators to join our team for the 2026 harvest season. This is a fast-paced position ideal for someone who is organized, dependable and comfortable working long hours during peak harvest. Position Details
- Seasonal position lasting approximately 4-6 weeks
- Start date: September 8, 2026
- Hours vary and include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and extended shifts
- Expect to work 6-7 days per week during harvest
- Applicants must be available to work the entire harvest season with no planned time off
- Weigh inbound and outbound grain using the scale system
- Grade and test grain and wheat
- Collect grain samples using a grain probe
- Operate moisture testing equipment
- Accurately complete required paperwork
- Answer phones and assist customers in a professional manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Computer experience required
- Strong reading, writing and basic math skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Good customer service and communication skills
