This assignment begins August 6th and runs through May 27th, covering the academic year. You'll spend most of your time providing expertise at elementary schools, contributing to a positive, inclusive educational environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active BCBA certification required
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong skills in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable to varied situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct FBAs and create individualized Behavior Intervention Plans for students in need
• Implement services, monitor student progress, and adjust strategies as needed
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to foster positive behavioral outcomes
• Provide support and training to school personnel on behavioral interventions
• Document and report on student progress to stakeholders
• Promote a culture of respect, inclusion, and growth within the learning environment
