Job Details Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Setting: Emergency Department / ER Location: Tahlequah, OK 74464 Start Date: September 14, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts Shift Schedule: Day shifts Hours Per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 - $2,010 Openings: 2 Job Requirements Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Room or acute care nursing experience required Active Oklahoma RN license or compact/multi-state RN license required Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required Experience caring for adult and pediatric emergency patients preferred Ability to manage ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and Vapotherm equipment Experience with critical medications, IV drips, and medication titration Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure emergency care environment Must meet pre-employment credentialing requirements, including background check and drug screen Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and frequent movement Responsibilities Assess patients quickly, identify changes in condition, and prioritize care based on acuity Initiate emergency interventions when immediate physician support is not available Monitor and operate emergency care equipment such as infusion pumps, pulse oximeters, ventilators, and cardiac monitors Administer medications, IV therapy, respiratory support, and other prescribed treatments Document assessments, nursing interventions, treatments, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly Coordinate patient care with physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the clinical team Support safe staffing and patient assignments by matching nursing skills with patient care needs Help maintain adequate supplies, equipment readiness, and a safe ER environment Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients with injuries, trauma, and urgent medical conditions Apply now to join this Travel ER RN opportunity in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and advance your healthcare career today.
