This role is strictly for candidates with prior Managed Service Provider (MSP) sales experience. We are looking for a true sales hunter and closer.  

We are seeking an experienced MSP Sales Executive with a proven background selling Managed IT Services to growing small and mid-market businesses, to join our growing team and help expand our managed IT services business.

This role requires strong understanding of core MSP services, including Help Desk Support, Microsoft 365, Azure, Veeam, Firewalls, Cybersecurity solutions, project-based work, and recurring monthly IT support.

Job Overview:

The MSP Sales Executive is responsible for driving and closing new business opportunities in the Managed IT Services and Security Services industry.

The MSP Sales Executive owns the entire sales cycle from cold prospecting and qualifying leads, to running discovery calls, demonstrating business value, and closing recurring revenue contracts.

The MSP Sales Executive will focus on growing our presence in the Tampa area market by directly engaging C-Suite executives, shareholders and key business decision makers to convert prospects into long-term clients.

The MSP Sales Executive role requires a thorough understanding of Managed IT and Managed Security services and the ability to accurately identify prospects who are a good fit for our company and services. Travel within the Tampa and surrounding area to connect with local prospects and close deals is key to succeeding in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities using cold calling, email campaigns, local networking, and social selling.
• Conduct strategic discovery meetings with business leaders to map IT pain points to Sequentur solutions.
• Collaborate with internal technical and leadership to align Sequentur solutions with prospect needs.
• Manage proposals, address technical and financial objections, and successfully close new monthly recurring revenue (MRR) contracts.
• Document all sales activity, communications, and pipeline stages accurately to maintain reliable forecasting.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote our services and expand Sequentur’s presence in the market.
• Meet or exceed assigned sales activity, pipeline, and closed business targets.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of verified B2B outside sales experience specifically within an MSP environment.
• Proven track record of generating and developing your own leads and securing new client contracts.
• Strong understanding of Managed IT Services and Security Services solutions, MSP sales cycle, recurring managed services, IT support, cybersecurity concerns, and SMB market business technology needs.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, driven, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with ConnectWise and HubSpot a plus.
• Willingness to travel within the Tampa and surrounding area.

• Base salary range $100-130k. OTE $150-200k+
