Responsibilities Provide and coordinate care for patients in the Cardiovascular Operating Room. Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support. Perform daily assessments and reassessments, develop individualized plans of care, administer medication, document, provide education, and maintain equipment. Deliver perioperative nursing care to surgical patients; perform circulator, scrub, and first assistant roles as competent. Lead and act as a resource for specialty team members to ensure comprehensive and safe patient care. Maintain full accountability for supplies and equipment to perform cases within the assigned specialty. Interact with patients, families, physicians, peers, and other staff with strong interpersonal skills. Qualifications Current RN licensure in good standing. Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with 1–2 years of progressive management preferred. Certification within area of expertise within 3 years of role acceptance. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred. Fully vaccinated for COVID‑19 according to local, state, and/or federal law (or approved exemption).
