Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with rotating weekends.

Job Description

The Travel Med Surg RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the medical-surgical unit. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to adapt to various patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support to patients in the medical-surgical department.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage medication administration.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
