Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Covington, Kentucky, to join their team. This full-time, hybrid position requires travel for court-related matters. The successful candidate will represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings. Responsibilities Represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings. Conduct legal research using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Provide legal advice to clients on a range of issues. Attend court hearings and trials. Requirements Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio. Familiarity with real estate, default servicing, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections. High degree of organizational skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities. Strong time-management and prioritization skills. Self-driven with the ability to work independently or collaboratively, as needed. Excellent and adaptive interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to providing exceptional, responsive, and time-bound client service. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Ohio. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
