Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Aide to join our team at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Linwood, a leading provider of healthcare services in Linwood, New Jersey. As an Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing recreational activities, social events, and programs that promote engagement, entertainment, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute daily activities, such as games, crafts, and outings, to meet the diverse interests and needs of our residents
• Develop and lead recreational programs, including arts and crafts, exercise classes, and entertainment events
• Assist with planning and implementing special events, such as birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and community activities
• Maintain a clean and organized activity room, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents
• Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity plans and budgets
• Provide support to residents with daily living activities, such as transportation, mealtime assistance, and personal care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1 years of experience in the healthcare or social services industry
• Ability to work varied shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and move with ease in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate and patient approach, with a focus on resident-centered care
