Warehouse Clerk: Forklift

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk - Forklift Operator to join our team. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Load and unload materials, products, and deliveries.
• Accurately maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Organize and stock warehouse inventory in designated locations.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure shipping and receiving documentation is completed accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Required

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Preferred

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.

Physical Requirements 

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment when authorized.
