We are seeking a professional and passionate Food & Beverage Host to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to create memorable guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service and hospitality.

As a Food and Beverage Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests entering the dining room. Your responsibility is to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience, from the moment guests arrive until they leave. You will work closely with our Food & Beverage leadership team to deliver impeccable service, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure that guest preferences and expectations are always met.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet and escort guests to their tables with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring all dining room standards are met.
• Manage guest reservations, while maintaining accurate records of guest preferences for future visits.
• Ensure all tables are properly set and menus are clean and accurate before guests are seated.
• Provide clear explanations of the menu and specials to guests, ensure all dining area parameters (lighting, temperature, ambiance) are perfect for guest comfort, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere throughout.
• Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Thank guests genuinely and sincerely as they depart.
• Assist with food running, setup and breakdown of special events, and general dining room operations.
• Work closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team to communicate daily specials and Chef's vision to guests, ensuring a smooth flow of service.
• Always maintain high personal grooming standards, wear your nametag, and engage with guests and colleagues using clear, respectful, and professional language.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, storage areas, and back of house.
• Address guest complaints and inquiries in a professional manner, escalating issues to management when necessary.

Requirements include:

• At least one year of experience in a food and beverage setting, ideally in a luxury or fine dining environment.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Positive, engaging, and energetic with a passion for providing excellent service.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage challenging situations with grace and professionalism.
• Familiarity with Micros, SevenRooms, Opera, and other relevant software is a plus.
• Able to carry, push, and pull heavy loads up to 45 lbs., and stand for extended periods of time.
• TIPS and ServSafe certified.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings in varying climates, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.
