Cath Lab/IR Technologist (CVIR), Day Shift, Cardiovascular

Position Interventional Radiology Technologist (Cardiovascular) at Shady Grove Medical Center. Responsibilities Collaborate with peers, physicians, and support staff to deliver quality patient care and customer service. Demonstrate initiative toward safety and risk management issues. Assist Interventional Physicians in all CVIR procedures using various interventional tools. Maintain working knowledge of contrast administration/contraindications and manage adverse reaction plans. Provide age‑appropriate patient care. Maintain a clean and safe environment. Manage time effectively, arriving punctually to work and assignments in accordance with hospital standards. Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate all customers, including on‑call services during off hours. Participate in new product evaluations and learn new procedures, sharing knowledge with peers. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT accredited School of Radiography or completion of an accredited cardiovascular program. Minimum of 1 year diagnostic imaging experience (e.g., Radiology Technologist / Diagnostic Technologist). Current ARRT or RCIS certification. Licensed Maryland Board of Physicians Radiographer or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS). Current BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS required within 1 year). Employment Details Full‑time, 40 hours per week on a 4‑day schedule of ten‑hour days (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.). Day shift with required weekend, holiday, and on‑call availability. Compensation and Benefits Pay Range: $37.17 – $55.76 per hour. $15,000 sign‑on bonus paid in three installments (90 days, 1 year, and 2 years from hire date).
