Credentialing Specialist

Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Wednesday and one additional day in office
Pay Rate: $23.00-$25 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Credentialing Specialist to coordinate provider credentialing activities and ensure providers meet credentialing and enrollment requirements in a timely and efficient manner.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in provider credentialing, with strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience .
• 3+ years of provider credentialing experience.
• Experience with provider credentialing and re-credentialing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word .
• Strong ability to review and draft professional correspondence.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Professional, friendly, and effective communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience with credentialing in a health plan setting .
• Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification.
