Payroll Administrator Location : Anchorage, AK Pay : $29.00–$30.00/hour DOE Schedule : Full-Time | Monday–Friday Flexible Start Times : 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM TDL Staffing is seeking a detail‑oriented Payroll Administrator to support full‑cycle payroll processing for multiple companies in a multi‑state environment. This position is ideal for someone with payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, HR, or finance experience who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accuracy, and providing exceptional customer service. Payroll‑specific training is provided for candidates who meet the minimum qualifications, making this an excellent opportunity to expand your payroll expertise while working alongside an experienced team. Working closely with the Payroll team, Human Resources, and Finance, you'll help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Key Responsibilities Compile and validate payroll data, including hours worked, earnings, taxes, deductions, benefits, and union dues Process payroll data and maintain payroll records for multiple companies in a multi‑state environment Review payroll calculations, identify discrepancies, and make corrections as needed Maintain employee payroll records, including tax elections, direct deposits, benefits, and garnishments Assist with payroll reporting, liability payments, and payroll documentation Respond to employee payroll questions in a timely and professional manner Collaborate with Payroll, Human Resources, and Finance to support efficient payroll operations Perform additional payroll and administrative duties as assigned Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll, HR, accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related finance role Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, with the ability to demonstrate practical Excel experience Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position Must support a drug‑free work environment Applicants never pay fees when applying with or working for TDL Staffing.
