Tolling Market Lead

Tolling Market Lead Partner with local area teams to cultivate and manage client relationships with toll agencies across the globe. Champion identification and development of projects and programs for toll facility clients within HDR’s transportation business group. Lead growth of tolling services and programs, expanding HDR’s suite of toll industry services for existing and future clients. Services We Offer to Toll Clients AET conversions for existing facilities Planning and Design services for systems including technology, payment methods, and advisory services Mobility and operational technology services including ATST, ITS, CAV, tolling system development and operations, managed lanes, ZEM and OT cybersecurity Advisory services including asset management, ROW, value engineering, funding and finance Key Responsibilities Research and share knowledge of trends and drivers within the tolling market Support identification, pursuit, and delivery of tolling opportunities where HDR can compete and deliver professional services Help develop client relationships with toll agencies, collaborating with local area teams and market sector teams Support TBG region directors in evaluating and prioritizing investments to capture tolling client opportunities Work with HDR leaders across the business group to broaden the range of tolling services offered and provide professional development for staff Lead HDR’s strategy for presence and leadership in industry organizations, including IBTTA and others Preferred Qualifications Professional Engineer (PE) preferred Recognized leader in the Toll Roads/Toll Facilities space Proven ability to set and execute strategy for growth of a practice, ideally in the tolling market Established relationships with major toll clients and DOTs Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, planning, or related field Minimum of 10 years industry experience Experience in development and management of strategic marketing programs for architecture, engineering, or planning services Experience in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits Experience in overall staff development, including recruiting, career path, and professional growth Experience with industry associations and maintaining a visible profile in the market sector Ability to work cooperatively with area and regional business group leaders Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and participation in employee‑owned culture Benefits Medical, dental, vision, short‑term and long‑term disability, life insurance Employee assistance program, paid time away, parental leave, paid holidays Retirement savings plan with employer match, employee referral bonus, tuition reimbursement Compensation Compensation is commensurate with skills, experience, education and geographical location.
