Candidates for this position must also demonstrate manual dexterity and the ability to effectively realize design goals. You must be able to work with customers to design and decorate a variety of cakes for various occasions by preparing icing, ice cream, and other ingredients, and overseeing the overall operation of our cake business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Receiving and processing online, phone, and in person cake ordersManaging cake and icing inventoryManaging cake decorating station to include preparing icing's, stocking decopacs, and following all sanitation proceduresDecorating cakes according to design standardsMaintaining a positive, friendly working relationship with guests, team members and leadershipStocking and maintenance of product displays according to quality and merchandising standards. Potential for working in other areas of the restaurantRequirements:Previous experience as a cake decorator is preferred.Previous experience working in a cafe or quick service restaurant preferredMeet safety and sanitation standards.
