QA＆QC Supervisor

The role oversees workshop operations, quality assurance, and compliance within an Oil & Gas environment. The incumbent ensures all processes, safety standards, and quality requirements are met while supporting training, service delivery, and customer satisfaction. The position involves workshop responsibilities, including equipment maintenance. Responsibilities Drive the implementation of Quality Improvement Plans to achieve zero defects, zero quality escapes, and reduce COPQ. Manage customer complaints and ensure timely resolution and corrective actions. Develop and standardize quality procedures, control plans, inspection plans, and work instructions. Analyze quality data using statistical tools to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. Oversee NCR management, including tracking, closure, and performance reporting. Ensure product compliance and release in accordance with organizational and customer requirements. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions to eliminate defects and process variability. Conduct and coordinate internal audits and ensure adherence to QMS and regulatory requirements. Supervise and manage QA/QC activities, including inspection planning and execution. Maintain calibration systems for testing and measuring equipment (TMMDE). Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to drive quality improvements. Ensure timely delivery of quality documentation and reports to customers. Lead and develop the QA/QC team, including performance management and competency development. Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and participate in related meetings and initiatives. Support third‑party inspections (TPI) and ensure alignment with Quality Control Plans (QCP). Updating and maintaining QMS to meet Weatherford Global Quality requirement. Qualifications Must‑Have: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field Knowledge of API and ISO standards and certifications 5‑8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure. Self‑motivated, committed to service quality, and a problem solver. Team player with strong collaboration skills across all organizational levels. Ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and third‑party auditors. Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel skills. Preferred Experience in workshop operations environment. Experience in training coordination and calibration management.
