Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Licensed Journeyman ElectricianPerforms skilled electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting to support manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role focused on equipment reliability, safety, and efficient execution of assigned work.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair electrical issues on manufacturing equipment and systemsPerform preventative and corrective maintenanceExecute work orders efficiently and accuratelyInstall, modify, and remove electrical equipment and control systemsAssist with equipment upgrades and new installationsFabricate components using shop tools and equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and control diagramsSupport PLC troubleshooting and basic programming adjustments (as applicable)Document repairs and system changesFollow all OSHA, NEC, and company safety policiesIdentify and report hazards or unsafe conditionsMaintain compliance with GMP and operational standardsWork closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teamsSupport team priorities and production needsParticipate in continuous improvement effortsQualifications:Required:Journeyman Electrician License3–5+ years of industrial or manufacturing experienceWorking knowledge of:Electrical systems and controlsIndustrial equipment maintenanceBlueprint and schematic readingPreferred:Experience with PLC systems and automationExposure to HVAC, boilers, pneumatics, or utility systemsPhysical & Work Environment:Continuous exposure to manufacturing environmentAbility to lift up to 50–100 lbs and perform physical tasksWillingness to work overtime and be on-call as needed
