Licensed Practical Nurse

About this Position Assists physicians and staff in delivering patient care as directed following established methods, procedures, and standards. Under minimum supervision, utilized a systematic approach to patient care incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position also provides administrative support to the department to include the OMM Clerkship and provider schedules. Required Qualifications Vocational/Technical: Practical Nursing Degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date. Six (6) months of clinical experience required unless internship completed in the OSU clinic system. 2 years college or technical training. Licensing and Certifications Licensed Practical Nurse licensure required in the state of OK. Current CPR certification required. Valid Driver's License. Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge Skill in delivery of patient care and procedures; medication administration, triage experience, direct patient care. Knowledge of medical terminology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy required. Ability to learn new processes, tools, and equipment as required. Preferred Qualifications Preferred experience in EPIC.
