Job Title

RN – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab Holding Area (Pre/Post/PACU)

Location

New York, NY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 40 hours/week – Four 10-hour shifts | Day/Night rotating schedule with occasional weekends based on unit need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Holding Area, supporting patients across the full continuum of procedural services
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver patient education in preparation for and following cardiac and vascular procedures
• Monitor hemodynamic status and manage moderate-sedation recovery in a Phase I/II PACU-level care setting
• Care for patients presenting with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure
• Manage both acute and non-acute clinical situations within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
• Collaborate with a dynamic care team committed to exceptional patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Telemetry experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting
• Recent experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
