Living Hope Fellowship Prayerfully Seeking a Faithful Pastor and Shepherd Living Hope Fellowship is a Southern Baptist congregation committed to the authority of Scripture and the Great Commission, serving the Lafayette, California community for over 70 years. We affirm the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 and cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention through the Cooperative Program in support of missions and ministry. Pastoral Responsibilities Preach and teach the Word of God through faithful expository preaching of Scripture Clearly present the Gospel and extend an invitation for salvation Shepherd the congregation with compassion, humility, and integrity Lead the church in evangelism and discipleship Work in unity with church leadership and deacons according to Baptist polity Provide pastoral care through visitation, prayer, and encouragement Qualifications Meets the biblical qualifications for a pastor found in 1 Timothy 3:1–7 and Titus 1:5–9 Full agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 Affirm the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture Demonstrates a clear calling and passion for pastoral ministry A heart for all generations and building up the body of Christ Evangelical Southern Baptist background preferred Willing to cooperate with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Cooperative Program Bachelor’s degree preferred in Theology, Christian Studies, Ministry, or Pastoral Studies Application Requirements Resume detailing ministry experience Personal testimony of salvation and call to ministry Family profile Statement of faith Written affirmation of agreement with the Baptist Faith & Message 2000 At least three ministry references Submit Materials To: View email address on click.appcast.io Subject: LHF Pastor Search #J-18808-Ljbffr Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary
