My Pet's Vet is looking for a Part Time Groomer to begin at our Eastgate, Ohio Animal Hospital. At My Pet’s Vet, our goal is to create a happy and positive work culture. We achieve this by creating flexible work schedules, establishing good workflow and labor appropriation, acknowledging achievements with frequent pay evaluations, and rewarding all staff members through bonus programs. Most of all we want to provide the best care possible to our patients, in turn, giving you a sense of pride in your work.
Responsibilities and Duties
Your basic duties as a Dog Groomer at My Pet’s Vet are as follows
- Maintain the appearance of all varieties of canines
- Styling, bathing, drying, and combing dogs
- Ear Cleanings and nail trims
- Keeping all tools clean and sanitized
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum One-year previous experience as a pet groomer.
- Knowledge of basic canine styles
- Excellent customer communication skills.
- Motivated and passionate about helping animals is a must
- Education: High School or Equivalent
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision
- Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- A commitment to outstanding client service.
- Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance.
